ItaliaFelix Specialty Foods is a young company that intends to delight the food connoisseurs of the world with the best regional specialties of Italy. Our mission is to provide the people of the world endowed with a refined palate with the most unique specialty products from Italy. In doing so, we handpick small-medium sized suppliers that produce foods using only natural ingredients and following the guidelines of century old recipes. The selection process is a tedious task that we gladly perform in order to fulfill our goal, that is, to provide finely crafted food delicacies from the regions of Italy. We strive to make sure that our customers enjoy the very best Italy has to offer. - HOW WE SELECT OUR SUPPLIERS
We are very selective, when choosing the Italian suppliers we want to represent. It is our objective to consider companies that present the following characteristics:
• They are small-medium sized, or family managed. This is because we DO NOT believe in mass-producing enterprises. We are in the business of delivering quality…not quantity.
• They have acquired the “organic food” certification by the Italian Government, or are in the process of being certified. All our suppliers must use natural ingredients throughout the production process.
• They have been in business for several decades. This shows the superior quality of the product, as the demanding Italian consumer keeps consuming only the foods that she has tried and knows. The Italian food sector is very competitive: only the very best suppliers resist and grow. We rely on these suppliers.
• They have received by the Italian government and/or the European Union the certifications of D.O.P., D.O.C, D.O.C.G., or I.G.P.
• They respect mother nature and avoid polluting the environment throughout the production process.
We like to define ourselves as the “bridge” between several regional Italian suppliers and buyers located all over the world. We represent the companies we choose and make sure that they find partners who share their values: honesty, integrity, and quality. We don’t simply want to sell: we want to create long lasting relationships based on mutual trust, and loyalty. If you are not endowed with the mentioned qualities, please do not contact us.

One concept that we would like to stress is: we are not middlemen! Our goal is to satisfy the consumers. They deserve products of high quality, at a convenient price. To do so, we are rewarded with a low commission that the supplier pays us on the quantity sold. In other words, the final cost incurred by the buyer IS NOT increased by any commissions paid for our promotional services. It is our intention to please all the parties involved in this transaction: the supplier (we increase their sales); the foreign buyer (we put her in the condition to purchase unique products at a good price, saving her time and money); and the final consumer, who will be able to buy fantastic Italian food delicacies at a convenient price. As we have already stated, the suppliers we represent deliver high quality and are endowed with a high level of integrity. We want to deal with foreign buyers that display the same features. Our way of doing business is honest and transparent, and we require that our partners act in the same way.
Since we want to provide products at the best possible price, we would like to deal with buyers who purchase from us (our suppliers) and sell directly to customers. Our ideal foreign partners are: specialty food stores, hotels, restaurants, Online gourmet food stores, wine shops, and any business focusing on the high-end, organic/specialty/gourmet foods sector.
